Welcome Message

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 13th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Singapore Gastric Cancer Consortium (SGCC). We are a national translational research group of clinicians and scientists from universities, research institutes and hospitals across Singapore working in gastric cancer research sharing a common aim of improving the outcomes of this disease by early detection, improving treatment and advancing biological understanding of gastric carcinogenesis.

This year’s meeting is the 13th in the annual series of scientific meetings organised by the SGCC since 2008. This year we are excited to re-convene at the Regent Hotel, Singapore and to welcome researchers, surgeons and clinicians from all around the world to share and discuss opportunities to improve clinical research and advance treatment in gastric cancer. The hybrid format also allows us to reach out by concurrent livestreaming to participants worldwide, who could not join us physically. It is our hope that this programme will foster focused and interactive discussions over the next two days.
