Biosketch

Dr Tomohiro Tada graduated from the University of Tokyo and got his PhD in 2005. Dr Tada is an experienced endoscopist, surgeon and anesthesiologist who has worked in renowned medical institutions including the University of Tokyo Hospital and the National Public Service Mutual Aid Union Toranomon Hospital. In 2006, he opened his clinic “Tada Tomohiro, the Institute of Gastroenterology & Proctology” and was also appointed as the director of Musashi Urawa Medical Center. He is also passionate about teaching younger generations and has been a visiting lecturer in the Department of Colostomy and Surgery at the University of Tokyo Hospital since 2012. In September 2017, he founded AI Medical Services, Inc. and has since served as its CEO.

AIM has been developing an AI software which supports endoscopic diagnosis of Gastrointestinal cancer.

The company is dedicated to support endoscopists, who has driven them to begin our research. They are committed to create what is truly useful in the clinical environment to save patients around the globe. In 2019, the conference for DDW, in which as many as 12 studies about endoscopic AI by the company were selected for presentation, including one which was awarded as “Best of DDW.”
