Biosketch

Adj/Associate Professor Kaushal Sanghvi is Senior Consultant & Head of Upper GI & Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery Service at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), as well as the Director of Bariatric Services at TTSH. He received his MBBS from India in 1996. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then went on to secure his Masters in Professional Health Education from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals (MGHIP), Boston, USA in 2020. His sub-specialty interests are in Gastric Cancers, Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Advanced Interventional Endoscopy & Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Additionally, Prof. Kaushal holds the position of the 2^nd Asst. Dean of Year 3 students at Lee Kong Chian Medical School (LKC). He actively takes part in clinical research both at LKC and TTSH. He is a custodian of the UGI tissue repository for Bariatric & Metabolic patients.
