Biosketch

Dr Edward Kai-Hua Chow is currently an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at the Cancer Institute of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. He is also Co-Lead of the Precision Medicine Theme of NUC Centre for Cancer Research (N2CR), Research Director of the Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM) at NUS and a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Dr Chow’s research interest is in understanding and improving cancer therapies through multidisciplinary integration of molecular biology, patient-derived avatars and engineering-based methods, such as complex system analytics. Following completion of his Ph.D. from UCLA in 2005, Dr Chow pursued his postdoctoral training under the guidance of Dr J Michael Bishop at University of California, San Francisco. During this time, he was supported by the American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellowship.
